The brand new MOZA Racing R12 expands MOZA's DD lineup to provide another option so you can be sure there is a wheel base that is a perfect fit for everyone. Capable of up to 12 Nm of peak torque and bringing the next generation of FFB Filtering algorithm, the R12 is powerful enough to satisfy the needs of the vast majority of sim racers out there.

Built Right

Just like the R9 and R5, MOZA Racing continues to use its signature enclosure featuring compact, lightweight commercial grade servo motors to ensure high levels of performance and reliability. The motor is packaged inside an all-aluminum alloy wheel housing for increased durability.

Ultra-low Torque Ripple

The motor in the R12 DD base utilizes a 18-slot, 16-pole high-slot design, which features the highest number of poles in its class. This design results in ultra-low torque ripple and exceptional shock absorption performance, delivering a smooth and seamless steering experience.

 

Wide High-torque Speed Range

The R12 DD base utilizes a low back-electromotive force design, which allows for a broad speed range even during high-torque operation. This feature enables high torque output at high speeds and eliminates torque dropouts when quickly correcting direction, ensuring a smooth and consistent steering experience.

 

Keep Cool

Advanced temperature control strategy using built-in temperature sensors and motor cooling for real-time heat management. This ensures stable operation and consistent feedback under extended use and endurance races.

    Moza R12! Incredible!

    Wow! I upgraded from a Logitech G29 so I knew this would be quite the step up, and boy oh boy, was it ever!! My first couple of laps using the wheel actually startled me! I wasn’t expecting quite that much torque. I went back into the Pit Lane software and “softened” the settings. Love, love, love this base. I paired it with the GS V2 wheel with the leather grips. Very happy with the purchase.

    Great base

    I upgraded to this base from the R5 and it was 100% worth it. The level of detail is amazing. With the R5 the detail was good but in the turns the detail would disappear as the forces would increase. With the R12 not only are the forces in the turn way stronger but the detail stays no matter how much force is being output. It's the perfect level of power for maximum realism.

    DD base that scratches that sim racing itch in my brain

    I always loved racing, and on a slight impulse found myself looking for a high quality, long lasting sim setup. This happened right as this wheelbase released, and I couldnt resist the offer.
    It is INCREDIBLE. The power is consistent, the feedback, with a bit of tuning, has great fidelity and a "crispness".
    The power is definetely enough for anyone, as I (as an athlete) run most my sims at 100% feedback and dont feel the need for any more.
    My racing instincts and driving reflexes got tuned in within 3-4 days (never drove a race car before) and I can say that it is a phenomenal experience.
    I got it paired with the KS and CS wheels, and I can guarantee that it will take a chunk of my daily hours for a long time to come.

    - no problems with shipping times (2 weeks to QC, CAN)
